We will be aiming to answer the question "What on earth am I here for?" which is probably a fundamental question for most people today. To help us in our quest we will use a book entitled, The Purpose Driven Life. It is a summary of everything Rick Warren, a pastor in a very large church in America, has learned about the Christian life after walking with the Lord for over 40 years. We will cover the following topics: Worship, Fellowship, Discipleship, Ministry and Evangelism. During this time, the Sunday services will focus on each topic, as will DVD's, which will be shown in small house groups. It all begins with an evening we have called Launch Pad, which will be an inspirational overview of the 5 purposes that will be explored during the Programme. Launch Pad will take place at 7pm on Friday 19th and 20th September, so you can choose to come along on either of the evenings. Anyone is welcome to join in this journey, so that as part of God's family we can together seek his purpose for us as individual disciples and as the whole church family. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
